Oròbix Joins Domyn to Build a European AI Leader; Luca Antiga Named CTO

This European strategic push for Responsible AI merges top talent and technology into a new frontier player, uniquely positioned to join the AGI race with the vision to advance safe intelligence that serves humankind. Headquartered in Milan and New York, the combined organization has 200 employees across seven countries and plans to double its workforce in the next 12 months, exceeding an enterprise value of \$2 billion and is positioned to deliver nine-figure revenue this year.

Orobix co-founder Luca Antiga was appointed CTO. Previously CTO at Lightning AI, he is a founding contributor to PyTorch and co-authored “Deep Learning with PyTorch”. He started his journey as a researcher in Bioengineering, and later co-founded Orobix with Pietro Rota. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of AI research, engineering, and scalable systems, with a track record spanning machine learning infrastructure, open-source innovation, and production-grade AI deployment. Luca will step down from his role of Chair of the Technical Advisory Council of the PyTorch Foundation to focus on his new role at Domyn.

Based in Europe, Oròbix brings deep expertise in the design, deployment, and governance of AI systems, with a strong track record in manufacturing and agriculture, as well as experience across energy and infrastructure.

Under Domyn, Oròbix’s multimodal technologies will gain broader international exposure while strengthening Domyn’s market position. In turn, Domyn will expand into advanced industrial verticals and enhance its Agentic AI solutions with multimodal capabilities, including vision and sensor data. Pietro Rota, co-founder of Orobix, is also joining Domyn with a role centered on expanding the Industrial customer base.
