Domyn Large Launches on Microsoft Foundry
Domyn Large is specifically built for domain-specific enterprise tasks that general-purpose LLMs underserve — Text-to-SQL, text-to-Cypher, knowledge graph extraction, and safety classification — while maintaining competitive performance on academic evaluations and full proficiency in key European languages. Its capabilities include context length up to 128k tokens, supporting reasoning controlling (on/off thinking modalities), and strong tool use capabilities. The model is aligned with the EU AI Act, reflecting Domyn’s commitment to safety and compliance.
Through the Microsoft collaboration, customers in regulated industries can deploy Domyn Large with full control and seamless integration into Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Under an Open Enterprise License, clients gain permanent and exclusive ownership of their customized model, including weights, pre-training recipe, and other essential model components.
Customers can use Foundry for managed cloud services or Domyn’s full-stack agents on Kubernetes (AKS) in the cloud or on Azure Local, providing greater control and flexibility.
Domyn Large is the latest addition to Domyn’s Azure portfolio, joining the Domyn Agentic AI Framework already available in the Microsoft Marketplace to enable enterprises to build intelligent agents on LLMs tailored to their operational contexts. These agents can integrate deeply with legacy systems, orchestrate internal processes, initiate autonomous workflows, and even communicate with existing agentic ecosystems via agent-to-agent protocols.

“At Domyn, we believe that artificial intelligence should be sovereign, governable, and deeply aligned with the critical infrastructures it serves. This collaboration with Microsoft marks a pivotal moment—not only for our company, but for all regulated industries looking to adopt AI on their own terms. By combining Domyn’s fully isolated, customizable models and agentic systems with the global reach of Microsoft Foundry, we are enabling enterprises to unlock new use cases while ensuring technological sovereignty,” said Uljan Sharka, CEO of Domyn.
“For regulated industries, AI adoption is no longer about experimentation — it’s about trust, control, and the ability to scale with confidence,” said Samer Abu-Ltaif, President, Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We’re working with Domyn as a strategic European partner that is purpose-built for sovereignty. By combining Domyn’s domain-specific models and agentic capabilities with Microsoft Foundry and Azure’s global, compliant infrastructure, we’re helping enterprises deploy partner-led, enterprise-ready AI at scale, without giving up ownership, governance, or accountability over their most critical systems.”
Combining sovereign AI, IP protection, and deep customization with the scalability and security of Azure, this collaboration enables enterprises to build AI systems they can own, govern, and trust.
